As the single game is done in a k.o.-system I just had this one match to win to move to the next round. There are 2 hits to be done to gain 2 points which means a win. The hits have to be placed very precisely otherwise they won't be counted by the referees.

As fast as I got nervous before the match as fast it was also over. 😄 Still, of course I am glad that I could join the tournament and even better is that my master told me to participate at the big Seoul Kumdo Championship in the next month too! 😁 Looking forward to it and will train more harder for it! So this was the first Seoul Cup day.

The next day was much longer for several reasons. On sunday the Team games took place. We participated with 5 Teams. 3 were male teams in which we had 1 team with 5 members including our master. The 2 others included 4 players of our Dojang. In this system each Kumdo Dojang competes with another. Each game is counted in the same way as a single game.

The male Team A did quite well but could not reach the half final and there received the 3rd place. Unfortunately our other male teams were not so successful.

Later the female team games took place. We competed with 2 teams each with 3 players. And we did really good! We won almost all matches. Team B got even directly into the finals. In the half final Team A lost... otherwise it have meant that our 2 Teams would have encountered each other in the finals. In the end our team A won the 3rd place and Team B gained the 1st place in the tournament! Yay!

We made really good games at the tournament and it was really exciting to cheer for them. Sinchon Kumdo Kwaaaan fiiighting. ^_^
