Typical for a korean BBQ place we had a grill with barbecue coal in the middle of the table on which we could grill the marinated chicken breasts on our own.

After the meat was grilled on both sides we cut them into smaller chopstick-eating-sizes. We also grilled some of the fresh garlic. There was a special spicy sauce for the chicken and and other 'dip' with fresh onions in a very tasty vinegar and sesame oil dressing.

When the chicken pieces were finally golden-brown grilled they were dipped into one of the sauces. The taste of the sauces fitted really good to the soy-sauce and slightly sweet taste of the soft meat. We then wrapped them into salad and ggaenjip (sesame leaf). It tastes the best with a piece of garlic! uuuhm. So good!

As a side dish we ordered kind of a korean noodle salad. These are cold buckwheat noodles in light a gochujang-sesame oil sauce with salad, ggaenjip, sesame seeds, egg and cabbage. It's taste goes really well to the Dak Galbi and is perfect for these hot summer nights. 😄
